Starting June 1, 2020 and for the immediate future, the below policies will be in place at our tournaments to limit gatherings and groups of people:

Players & Parents

- All players and parents asked to stay home if they are sick

- Everyone encouraged to wash hands with soap and water or

hand sanitizers with high alcohol content throughout the day

- cover mouths when coughing or sneezing, avoid indoors spaces when possible

- Avoid hand shaking and close proximity to others at all times



During Event

- No registration or check in, players will receive tee gifts after their first round at the scoring table

- Weather Delays: Player's and spectators are recommended to have and wear a face mask if social distancing is not possible (i.e. weather evacuation shuttles and indoor sheltering during weather delays) However, sheltering in cars during delays will be the first recommendation to all players on site, or in out-door shelters while maintaining social distancing

Players are brought in from waiting lists based on Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, NOT the order they signed up for the waiting list.


The waiting list will change frequently, with players being added or taken off if their plans change.


Unfortunately, the nature of a waiting list requires a player to withdraw for a spot to become available.

Because we do not know when or even if a player will withdrawn, we cannot tell you what your chances are of getting in are if you email or call us and ask.

Also, because we bring in players based on Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, highly ranked players can register late, but still get in off the waiting list should a spot come open. This is also why we are unable to tell you your chances of getting in are if you email or call us and ask.


If you are no longer able to play, please email us and will take you off the waiting list.


If a spot comes available, and you are next on the list, you will be added to the field automatically.

If you are unable to play after being added to the field you must notify us within 24 hours and we will take you out of the field and credit your account the full registration fee or issue a refund less a $15 processing fee.



There is no cost or risk to signing up for a waiting list.

Starting the 2021-2022 season - Ready Golf enforcement

1) A group will be deemed "out of position" if they have a par 3 open or the next fairway open in front of them after completing a hole

2) Any player that does not play Ready Golf (as defined above) when their group is "out of position" will be given a warning

3) Any player that does not play Ready Golf (as defined above) after having been given a warning, will be given a 1 stroke penalty

4) Ready Golf penalties can be rescinded:

- your group enters the scoring area 10 minutes or less after the group in front of you and/or

- if the player's efforts are sufficient to waive the penalty as determined by our staff

If you need to withdraw from an event, please email the Tour staff as soon as possible to avoid fees and so we may add another player from the waitlist.


All withdrawals MUST be done via email for recordkeeping purposes. Please contact us via email, staff@gwjuniortour.com.
Withdrawals will NOT be accepted over the phone or text.


In the body of the email, make sure to include the player’s full name, the name of the event(s), and the date of the event(s). If there is no stated request for either a refund or credit, GJT will default to issuing credit. Once this has been received by the staff, you will receive an email confirming your withdrawal.


Withdrawals received 6 days or more before an event will receive a full credit towards any future event with us, or a refund with a $50 fee.


Withdrawals received between 3 - 5 days before the event will receive a 50% credit towards any future events, but no refunds.


Any withdrawals received inside 2 days of the event will not receive any credit or refund
